somehow the stars aligned, and i managed to get into this magnificent girl gang. my ladybirds are real talented, real smart, and real pretty to boot, and i love 'em a real lot. this past weekend we got to celebrate a girl gang wedding, (bride is front and center), during which we exercised styling, make-up, and hair skills, in addition to performing a few songs live: the ronette's be my baby, cyndi lauper's time after time, and adam sandler's grow old with you. ashley on keyboards, katherine on bells & egg shaker, megan on tambourine & xylophone, tate on autoharp, and myself on guitar.
so much emotion, booze, hairspray, and dancing was packed into that day, there's no way to sum it up without tripping on sentimental cliches, so i'd rather just show some of my favorite photos. the sole sewing-related item is that i made my dress, and this was it's anticipated debut...
